Lisa Schork, CLTC
Lisa Schork, CLTC-(Certified in Long Term Care), has been a senior partner of LTC Capstone since 2002. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from the State University of New York with further study at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium specializing in the then-named EEC (European Economic Community.) She was raised in the Town of Tonawanda, NY. – (Western NY) Her next move was to the west coast where she resided in San Francisco, California working in finance for over 13 years.
Since relocating to Bellingham, almost a year to the day after the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, she has achieved the Series 6 & 63 licensing and as well as all insurance lines. For over 18 years, Lisa has specialized in helping families protect their assets through Long Term Care Planning. She is a featured speaker for civic groups, governmental agencies, corporate training and educational events. In addition, her articles have appeared in the Bellingham Herald, NW Business Monthly and other publications. Her training programs have been endorsed by national insurance brokerages.
When she’s not involved in Long Term Care Planning, Lisa enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, travel, cooking, theatre, and her gardens. She resides with her squirrel chasing dog, Buddy, who has 19 catches and 4 moles in his rather ignominious career. Her travels to Africa, Asia and Cuba have led to her ongoing interest in access to fresh drinking water as well HIV-AIDS related health services.
